Pokemon Black and White Announced

You have to give it to Nintendo, they really know how to take the wind out of their own sails.  Just under a month after the US release of Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver for the Nintendo DS, and the big N has already announced the next generation of Pokemon game. 

Titled Pokemon Black and White, the two games supposedly take the Pokemon series in a new direction.  Japanese magazine CoroCoro has exclusive images in their newest issue.  Luckily Serebii.net took it upon themselves to scan the images for the world to see. 

The new game appears to change the camera angle from the overworld adding a more cinematic feel.  In addition it appears that battles have undergone a visual upgrade as well.  Though at first glance the game still seems to be sprite based.  Hopefully Nintendo will take this opportunity to completely revamp the series, not that turn based battles with 4 attack choices aren't cutting edge.
