High Moon Studios Talks Multiplayer

Transformers War for Cybertron has a new trailer out today which details some of the multiplayer aspects of the new game. The video features High Noon Studios Lead Programmer Andrew Zaferakis and Game Director Matt Tieger discussing a few of the things to expect in Transformers' multiplayer.
According to Zafarakis, the game will feature an experience based progression system which will allow gamers to unlock new characters, weapons, abilities, and perks. The battle system in Transformers appears to have a Gears of War style cover system. However, adding the ability to transform into vehicles mixes up the standard stop and pop action.
So far the game looks promising. Although I'll withhold judgement until I see Soundwave in action. If this game doesn't let me rock out to some ill tunes with a transformable jambox, I'll be dissappointed. Have a look at the video yourself, and keep an eye out for Transformers June 22.
